Nine to five; must put on your enforcer hat

Work Involved

Imagine you?re cruising along a 3 lane highway at 90 clicks, wedged between two massive 50-tonne trucks rumbling alongside your little beater. A Commercial Vehicle Inspector keeps you safe.

Commercial Vehicle Inspectors monitor everything from weights and dimensions to defects and licences. They are the police officers of the trucking world with a Constable status to give out tickets and prosecute violators in court. It?s their enforcing of the rules and regulations that makes trucks 3 times less likely to be in an accident than a car. Commercial Vehicle Inspectors are the key to keeping our roads safe for everyone, even the little beater.
