Flight Dispatchers communicate with pilots landing and taking off, maintenance workers, ground crew, emergency crew and various airport staff where one decision can be the difference between life and death. These people are very organized and have to be professional because they work in a field where their decisions, no matter how small, can impact everyone in the airport.

Education & Training

The Transport Canada Flight Dispatcher Certificate Exam. You should have some aviation background, with a private pilot licence or have attended a private pilot ground school.
