Work Involved

Are you constantly trying to resolve disputes among friends? Are you known as the decision-maker of your group? Are you a fan of Law & Order?

Differing perspectives and disagreements are unavoidable in the transportation industry, especially when big bucks are on the line. For many of these disputes, Mediators are brought in and are at the centre of the action. When the going gets tough and people want to resolve issues they come to you for advice. Your job is to listen to the differing viewpoints and provide level-headed recommendations that take into consideration all perspectives. In many cases, mediators help make decisions on issues that influence future transportation regulations. Can a railway be constructed in this location? Will certain urban areas be affected? It’s up to you to help determine.
