Work Involved

If there is someone who needs eight arms it would be the Operations Manager. He is the ultimate multi-tasked who gets the thrill of “doing it all.” Everything in a trucking business goes through him and there is never an opportunity to be bored.

He is an expert in people, places and profit. He has to know the city and the country, know schedules, know drivers, know money and know business.

It’s never dull, never the same, never easy and always complex. An Operations Manager puts a business on his back and drags to success, sometimes getting his hands dirty, but always working hard because this person is like Atlas: the world is on his shoulders and this Titan is responsible for keeping a company high in the sky.
