Work Involved

You’re the team leader, and like the best team leaders in sports you’ve got to prove you’re the best at what you do. You’ve also got to make sure your whole team is on the same page. One mistake could cost you the game, or in the Project Manager’s case, that major contract to build a railcar from the ground on up.

If competitiveness is in your blood and you thrive under pressure than working as a Project Manager may be for you. Seeing a project develop from a piece of paper to a fully functional train is a lot of work but also a lot of fun. Project Manager’s have a very rewarding job as there’s nothing quite like the feeling of seeing the end result of all your hard work come together.
