Work Involved

A transportation analyst is the gold miner of the office. He sifts through mounds of sediment to find his gold nuggets. Once found, he must analyze and make sense of the information, then pass it along to everyone else in the office. The team depends on him to sift for current, clear and useful information.

That old cliché ‘it’s a poor day if you don’t learn something new’ actually applies to this job. Transportation analysts are constantly learning new things about this huge industry from their ‘mining’, as well as from the various industry players they meet along the way.
