Truck Driver Lifestyle

Freedom like you have never experienced

Work Involved

Life on the open road is the dream for so many people. Following those little white lines to anywhere can be the essence of freedom and make the heart scream “Roadtrip!” A Truck Driver lives this dream every day exploring places that are just dots on a map to the average person.

Truck Drivers can be local and stay close to home or they can see the whole country in a week. They have to be emergency mechanics and be quick on their feet while controlling 50-tonne, articulated machines with multiple axles, moving at 90 kilometres an hour. Some Drivers own their trucks — making them accountants, customer relations managers, dispatchers, mechanics, computer technicians and — oh yeah, Truck Drivers as well.
