Warehouse Supervisor Lifestyle

Nine to five but can be a real “pressure cooker”

Work Involved

Imagine that the world?s largest puzzle is your playground and you get to spend your day trying to make the picture on the box come to life. Now imagine that every few hours the picture changes so that some of the pieces that fit an hour ago don?t fit any more.

A Warehouse Supervisor is the ?puzzle master? dealing with a crazy, complex schedule of trucks unloading shipments of anything from lawn furniture going to Alberta to iPods going to Ontario to Kraft Dinner for the Yukon. He also juggles things like training staff, meeting deadlines and working with customers. Sometimes he may feel a bit stretched like a little rubber band around the oversized weekend edition of the newspaper.
